Week 2 Guerrilla Marketing

First and foremost, it is crucial to have a quality product or service to market. Otherwise, any marketing technique will reveal to customers that the product is not actually worth purchasing again. With a guerrilla marketing focus, it is important to focus on the smaller details that are actually more important to the customer with a core idea. Breaking down the complex idea into a simple, straightforward message to the customer is important. It saves time and eliminates any confusion about what you are trying to sell. When deciding on how much money to spend on marketing, entrepreneurs should be savvy and keep an eye on the bottom line.

Each decade since the 80's has had a new focus on marketing: quality, flexibility, and innovation. As a guerrilla marketing focus, it is better to focus on quality and flexibility prior to innovation. To market, it can be as simple, inexpensive, and effective. There is no set structure or set of rules to follow and how much or little you decide to market is up to you, as your own guerrilla. I appreciate the simpler approach because it is more feasible, especially with a smaller budget. Marketing is a new concept to me, but I think that social media posts, newspaper ads, and bulletin board posts are fairly straightforward and easier to learn initially. Walk before you run.
